Valentine’s Madness
This afternoon I was almost defeated by the joy and happiness of those around me, but fear not! This evening is when Captain Emo is at his strongest. I take comfort in other peoples’ individual misery and emoness. Anyway, today was actually fun. I did really well on my philosophy test and then hung out with Steph, my pseudo-Valentine. We wrote in chalk all over sidewalks across campus and then worked out. I know what you’re thinking, “Ryan working out?!!” To answer your question, yes it was that awkward. My teeth started hurting after we ran…how weird is that? I think it’s God’s way of telling me not to work out. Yeah, sounds good.
I’d just like to take a second to thank the Grammys for awarding Garden State last night. For once, that movie gets the recognition it deserves (so its the soundtrack, but still!). Also, its awesome to see Return of the King continue to win awards over fourteen months after it was released.
Most importantly, though, congratulations Brandon! You know I really hate this day, but at least now I can celebrate your “engagement-iversary” instead of that crappy Hallmark holiday. And I don’t care if you’re engaged, I still think you should move to Austin and live with me. I’ll kill that bitch Allegra if I have to!
