So the UCLA game way pretty awful this weekend. One of the few highlights was sitting in the first row of the Texas endzone. Here’s a picture of Hook ‘em, shortly before we exchanged high-fives. Yes, that totally happened.

In Austin for flyout week / UT vs. UCLA. If anyone’s around this week, let me know! I lost most of my Austin numbers when I got my iPhone.

Today we went to the Columbus Zoo, home of Jack Hanna. The highlight was watching two polar bears fight for ten minutes.

Today I was able to visit Fallingwater for the first time. I’ve wanted to see that beautiful house since I was eight, and it didn’t disappoint. Well, I’m disappointed that I don’t (and never will) own something that amazing.

I just found this letter in the Archives folder on my external hard drive.  I can’t remember writing it, but it doesn’t really surprise me.  I hope you all try to imagine (or remember) me at twelve while you read it — I was 4’11″, probably around 90 lbs, and thought I was mere days away from everyone realizing that I should be part of the cool group at school.  For some inexplicable reason (see below), that day never came.

Wedding Roundup

The wedding was incredibly fun, and ended with the bride at Cheers on Sixth Street in her wedding dress.

I was able to catch up with dozens of people I hadn’t seen in years, and even managed to watch most of the UT game before the ceremony. Oh, and there was drinking.
