Two quick things:

1. I shaved for the first time in nearly ten days. My face thanked me.

2. I took some cool panoramas at Bondi beach today, but I can’t get them from my friend Joe’s computer to my iPhone, so they’ll have to wait. For now, here’s a Hipstamatic pic of some surfers.

Okay, off to enjoy my last night in Sydney!

Today was so much fun. I got to see the Blue Mountains (named so because of the blue fog covering the valley — caused by the eucalyptus trees in the area) and the Three Sisters, and was able to pet a kangaroo and a koala!

Here are a few pics, although I haven’t been able to go through and decide which ones are best yet.

I took 79 pictures of the Sydney Opera House today. Like the rest of Sydney, it is unbelievably beautiful. I wish I had my point and shoot (and its optical zoom), but I had to make due with my iPhone. Here are a few favorites:

We ended up going on a wild goose chase to find some beautiful hill we saw across the harbor in Auckland today.  Turned out to be an old military post with great views of the city.

First two pictures from Waitapo. More of those to come when I get back. The last picture was the New Zealand sky after the rain finally cleared. The last two days were very wet, but driving into that sunset for 30 minutes made it worthwhile.

Only one more day in New Zealand, unfortunately.

I just decided to attach more photos. One is from the top of an awesome rock (Lion’s Back?) on Piha Beach. I hiked halfway up and took a picture with a Maori statue. It was insanely windy but thankfully I didn’t die. Okay, more to come if I get Internet again!

I’ll most likely be off the grid until August 20. I’m spending six nights in Auckland, NZ and three nights in Sydney, Australia with my law school friend Joe Vardner. I can guarantee there will be Hipstamatic prints when I come back.
