Stalkers take note.

I’m in the middle of law firm interviews right now.  24 interviews in five days.  So far they’ve been great, and I’ve gotten to meet some really interesting lawyers.  Anyway, I only had two interviews today so I decided to take some pictures of my new apartment.  So far I’ve really enjoyed it, although my room is much smaller than expected.  I’ve adjusted to it, and just spend most of my time in the living room.

Hey all,

I’m just spending the week vacationing in Maine before driving down to Cambridge on Thursday. If I’m going to be a pretentious New Englander, I might as well go method. It’s gorgeous here, and the weather has been perfect. My mom and I are staying with the family that housed me in Waterloo for a semester, after my parents moved back to Texas. I’ve missed the wife Claire’s cooking more than anything else from Belgium (seriously), so it’s been great to experience that again.

I also remembered how much I hate Sallie Mae today when I tried to reapply for student loans. Considering NOTHING has changed from last year, they made the process excruciatingly difficult. It didn’t help that the phone operator didn’t speak English well, and couldn’t tell when I was being curt and when I was trying to make a joke. I think I got it all sorted out, but really don’t know…I might need to borrow $50,000 from one of you. Any takers?

I’ll post more once I get to Boston. I have a bunch of interviews from 8/24 – 8/28, but should have some free time after that’s done.
